Stress causes the body to release the hormone cortisol, which is produced by the adrenal glands. Cortisol is important to blood pressure regulation and the normal functioning of several body systems including cardiovascular, circulatory and male reproduction.

What can stress do to the women’s body?

Long-term tension can lead to headache, migraine, and general body aches and pains. Tension-type headaches are common in women. Depression and anxiety. ... Research suggests that women may feel the symptoms of stress more or get more of the symptoms of stress than men.

 

Physical symptoms of stress include:

  • Low energy.

  • Headaches.

  • Upset stomach, including diarrhea, constipation, and nausea.

  • Aches, pains, and tense muscles.

  • Chest pain and rapid heartbeat.

  • Insomnia.

  • Frequent colds and infections.

  • Loss of sexual desire and/or ability.

 

Muscular system. Your muscles tense up to protect themselves from injury when you're stressed. They tend to release again once you relax, but if you're constantly under stress, your muscles may not get the chance to relax. Tight muscles cause headaches, back and shoulder pain, and body aches.

In a long term,stress is going to affect you badly and things will be worse and worse.
