I am going to start my series of a blogs on the theme:
Self Talk to self realisation.

So keep watching this space.

Loving or hating the life you are living is solely all in your repeated self-talk.” – Edward Mbiaka.

Self-talk is the internal dialogue we have with ourselves. It influenced by out subconscious or unconscious mind, and it reveals your thoughts, beliefs, questions, and ideas.
Self-talk can be both negative and positive. It can be encouraging, and it can be distressing.

Examples of self talk

Some positive self-talk:
  •  I can do it.
  •  Im good enough.
  •  If I want to, I can.
  • I doesn't matter if I make a mistake.
  • I can make it happen.

Some negative self talk:
  • I can't do it.
  • I am not worth it.
  • I am not good enough.
  • People don't like me.

Why is it important?
Self-talk is important in many ways. It's a process that we use to frame our lives. If we constantly give ourselves negative messages, then we begin to develop automatic thoughts that take us from a particular incident to a negative emotional reaction.

Is self talk normal?
Yes ,it is.but what we are talking to ourselves is not normal sometimes.
Because we don't realise that what exactly are we talking.

How does it affects you?
Mostly, negative self talk is a inner dialogue you have with yourself that may be limiting you and to believe in yourself and your own abilities, and reach your full potential. It is any thought that diminishes you and your ability to make positive changes in your life or your confidence in yourself.

What's positive self talk?
When negative events or mistakes happen, positive self-talk seeks to bring the positive out of the negative to help you do better, go further, or just keep moving forward. The practice of positive self-talk is often the process that allows you to discover the optimism, hope, and joy in any given situation.

How to improve the self talk?

Here are some pointers which may help you:
  • Identify negative self-talk traps.
  • Certain scenarios may increase your self-doubt and lead to more negative self-talk.
  • Check in with your feelings.
  • Stop during events or bad days and evaluate your self-talk.
  • Find the humor.
  • Surround yourself with more positive people.
  • Give yourself positive affirmations.

Let's keep exploring the world around"Self talk".
