Are you questioning or asking questions?

25th May 20 (Monday)

Have we ever realized that,  we ask questions all the time?

Sometimes consciously, and most of the time unconsciously or subconsciously.

It's helpful in discovering a person's individual way of thinking and their mental blocks, and in applying specific mindsets to help them achieve their goals. The philosophy is simple: Asking the right questions gives people the answers they need to move forward in life.

Here are a few reasons why we ask questions:
  • You discover something new.
  • You put things together.
  • You remember things.
  • You resolve issues.
  • You understand people better.

Questions helps us to elicit information from the person being addressed by.

There are 2 types of questions:
  • Closed ended question
  • Open ended question.

Both type of questions helps in different ways to different people and according to me open ended question helps most .

Here are some examples of

Closed ended questions:
  • Was trip successful?
  • Are you good?
  • Do you get along with your colleagues?

Open ended questions:
  • How would you do that?
  • Why do you believe on this?
  • What would happen,if you do this way?

Now you explore ,what kind of questions would you like to ask yourself and to other people?
